My instructions are to say what important things make me me. I want to be a lawyer, and probably work for the gov't. Yes, I know this is career suicide, but I'm not going to make it in the military, which was the other option, and I insist on serving my country/community somehow. I tried it (the military) and I broke my legs. No, I'm not handicapped now. I like to read. That's generally what I do with my spare time. I'm a little shy around new people, but I won't shut up once I get to know and like you. Big groups of people I don't know scare me, so I don't go to bars or big parties. Which, incidentally, is why I'm doing the online dating thing. I'd have a hard time meeting people while I'm sitting in my living room otherwise. I can do concerts, though. I don't like rap or hip-hop or that bubble-gum crap. Other than that, everything goes, by way of music..... I like cats. And pick-up trucks. But I drive a Corolla. My mind is a confusing place, as you may have picked up on. But the people who take the time to get to know it/me usually wind up thinking it's/I'm alright.

Well, I've just graduated TCC with my AA. I graduated with honors, so I'm proud of that. I was in the Army, as I mentioned... less proud of that, since I didn't make it there, but I'm proud of the initiative I took in joining. Ummmm ... I take really good care of my cats? I dunno. I lead a pretty simple life, but I think it's ok. I've overcome some crazy stuff (yes, I do in fact have a history, and no, it is not [in fact] all sunshine and butterflies; I think this is something people need to understand about other people for relationships to work) but on the whole I'm doing alright, and I just want someone to share the craziness with.

One of those nice guys I've heard so much about, but not one who thinks that love happens overnight. Someone who believes chivalry is not dead. Someone who can actually appreciate personality quirks instead of trying to be a cookie-cutter version of himself that society asks for. Someone who likes pina coladas and getting caught in rain.... oops, now I've broken into song. Oh well. Hopefully I've made my point. I'm looking for a real relationship, one that will last a long time, but I plan on going to law school somewhere other than FL, so unless something amazing happens and he wants to follow me when I go to law school, I see the relationship ending once I graduate FSU.
