My Headline

why not a footline.

About Me

i was coming up from the laundry room with my full basket and my dog. i couldn't see over the basket and accidentally stepped on my munchkin's leash, and he fell flat on his face. i still feel guilty. he's sleeping on the freshly washed bathmat right now and looking very cute. i think this site seems to take itself too seriously. i like the ones in which the people are obviously mocking the site and themselves for patronizing said site. should that be sites? i don't know. i edit stuff, so i probably should know. the editor me is easily annoyed by misplaced punctuation and misspellings, but i make many, many typos when i im, so it's incredibly hypocritical of me to criticize others' misspellings. however, i contend that while i'll spell the like "teh" and like like "liek," at least i know how to spell them. i can also spell definitely, which a surprisingly large number of people can't seem to do. see, it's just definite with an "ly." easy.

my accomplishments? you have *got* to be kidding me. "i won first prize in the peach pie-making contest back home in georgia." i'm not really from georgia, although i think boys from georgia have a really cute accent. use that information as you see fit. i think voice-over work is really cool. i'm sort of hungry. did i mention that before? i haven't died for twenty-three straight years (soon to be twenty four). that's an accomplishment.

Who I'd Like To Meet

this place is a gold mine in misused em dashes. "this is your chance to describe your soul mate --- interests, personality, appearance and more. blah blah blah." how about adding an "apostrophe s" and losing the em dash altogether? that would be *awesome*, true with a line over the u, making it seem like it should be pronounced "tryoo" instead of true as we know it. what's so true about all this, anyway? it doesn't seem like this is any more or less true than any other dating site i've seen. do they make their members take lie detector tests? is there live feed into each member's bedroom so we can see what everyone looks like when they get up in the morning? i look tired. big surprise.
