I am a down-to-earth guy who enjoys a good time as much as the next person. I have a tendency to be shy and introverted in larger groups, but that disappears quickly once I get to know people. I play hockey at a military academy in New York, so I am part student, part hockey player, and part soldier. There really isn't much else to say; I enjoy the simple things in life and am looking to share them with that special someone.
I have been living away from home since I was fifteen to play hockey, so one of my accomplishments has been my maturity compared to others my age. My parents instilled a great work ethic and pride within me, and my accomplishments have all spawned because of them. Of course there are more mainstream accompishments such as attending West Point or playing college hockey, but these things would not have happened had I not matured and been goal-oriented.
I would like to meet someone who is as intellectually and emotionally attractive as they are physically attractive. That being said, I know I am no model and I am not looking for the same in return. I belief is that a person can be beautiful, but if I can't stand to hold a conversation with them there is no chance of a relationship. I'd like to meet someone who is independent, kind, and has a great sense of humor. That seems pretty broad I know, but I am truly open to many different types of people, hopefully to include you.
