I have grey hair and hazel eyes. I am 5ft 10in tall and weigh 195lb so you can see that I could stand to lose a few pounds with help from a partner. I like to cook but it is hard to get used to cooking for ONE. I am easy going, do not get upset easily, look at the brighter side of life, & believe that the GLASS OF LIFE IS NEVER HALF EMPTY BUT IS AT LEAST HALF FULL OR MORE. A positive attitude produces a positive result. I spend my time between my home in Bloomfield NY in the summer & my home in Port Richey FL in the winter. It appears that I have the best of both worlds as Florida is too hot in the summer & NY is too cold in the wiinter. There is a lot to be said about going out on a January morning in just shorts, working up a sweat on your bicycle, & picking an orange for breakfast from the tree in yout yard on the way inside. I rarely drink alcohol as I have gone through that phase many years ago but would accept someone who is not a drunk but does drink socially. I do not smoke but would accept someone who is not a chain smoker. Darn chains are too hard to light & keep lit don't you think so???
Some how I have managed to live to the ripe old age of 76. It was a good ride & I plan to ride on for a LONG LONG time. If that is not an accomplishment, what is???????
I would like to meet someone with the qualities as listed as "about me". I also believe that I would like to meet someone who is not superstitious & not believe in a jinx. I have lost a wife of 40yr who died of brain tumours, a wife of 6yr who died from complications of Alzheimers, an ex-wife who died from stage 4 colon cancer, and a significant other who died in April from a ruptured ulcer. I NEED SOMEONE WHO believes that it has only been bad luck on OUR part, not a jinx. Accordingly, I am looking for someone who is in reasonably good health as I would NOT like to lose another love soon. I have done my grieving and am ready to start over again freshly with I HOPE , someone who will turn out to be MY ONE LAST LOVE FOR LIFE AND THAT IT WILL BE THEIRS ALSO. I pray that it will become so.
