Originally I'm from TX and recently graduated from the University of Rochester in Rochester, NY. I graduated with a B.A. in Biology and am pre-dental. I plan on taking 1-2 years off and will be doing genetics research with mitochondria in a molecular genetics lab at the U of R. I also love kids and swimming so I teach swimming lessons for the Webster Aquatic Center in Webster, NY. I'm burned from school and taking some time off before I hit the books again. I enjoy the outdoors especially if you combine any sort of physical activity with it. I love working out, especially since I'm a swimmer. I'm open-minded and always up to new things, especially if they challenge me in a way I've never been challenged before. I'm easy going and a good listener but shy at first. I'm always up for meeting new people. :) I've learned that people come into your life for a reason and the experiences you share with them can be good or bad. What you learn from those experiences is what matters most. You can't please everyone and when you try you only end up making yourself unhappy. Be true to yourself and surround yourself by the people that matter the most. This is YOUR LIFE and you only get one so live it vicariously but be smart about it. Don't judge a book by its cover. What may be unappealing at first can actually surprise you.

I'm in no hurry to meet someone but if someone comes along my way I won't turn them away. I like to take things slow and get to know the person before anything. I enjoy dates and am a romantic at heart. I want someone who loves the outdoors but doesn't mind staying in once in awhile... Someone who loves to go out and dance but doesn't mind a movie/game night now and then... Someone that I can laugh and be ridiculous with but challenges me intellectually... Someone who can stare into my eyes and see past to my soul where true love lies...
