I am a divorced mother of three children who are the best part of my life! I continue to have a very busy life even though my children are on their own. Except my youngest, who is still in college. I can't figure out how I stay so busy without running to Field Hockey, Theatre, Ice Hockey or Lacrosse. (I kind of miss all that.) I do have a new puppy and she keeps me on my toes! She is adorable and a very good dog. I love the outdoors, walking, running, hiking, fishing/boating, skiing or pretty much anything else. I love the Adirondacks. I've only climbed two of the High Peaks. But would love to say some day, "I've climbed all 46"! I enjoy the theatre, movies, music, dancing and the arts.
I guess I would have to say that raising my children to be who they are today is my best accomplishment. I think they turned out great! I'm proud of the fact that I made it through the hard years as well as I did. It's not easy......... I'm a good cook and enjoy making others happy by feeding them. I also like to be wined and dined. I'm happy keeping a clean house and a well manicured yard and veg garden. I'm self sufficeint but I am certainly not a "Liberated Woman". Chivalry is not dead, as far as I'm concerned. I take pride in my work ethics. I have always given 110% at any job I have had. I don't mind a challenge and feel great when I tackle something personal or professional and conquer it.
I would like to meet someone with similar interest and values as me! But maybe I should mention that honesty, loyalty and sincerity are very much a part of my life and I would expect it in any kind of relationship I have.
