I just finished my master's
degree in Oxford and hope to
relocate to the
Cincinnati
area.
Admittedly, I am a
bit
of a
dichotomy. A gay
man who
likes
to watch
college
basketball?
It's not
a sign of
the rapture,
I
assure you.
For those
Myers-Briggs fans
out there, I'm
an
ISTJ. I
prefer a
gathering of
a few
close
friends instead of
gi-normous
parties. I
function well
in
social settings, but
I
am
cautious around people I
don't know. I wear my heart
on my sleeve. I have recently
come to terms with my
southern
(Indiana) accent. I
enjoy
singing and have
been active
in
men's choirs
during
college and
grad
school. I can
place an
order
at a
restaurant to rival
Meg Ryan a la
When Harry Met
Sally. I am not
a wine
snob, but
I do not
believe
white
zinfandel is
actually
wine. I can
never
watch
enough movies or
sitcoms.
I
have cried more in the
past year than I have in my
entire life. I love being in
the sun during summer. I
would
rather drive with the
windows
down and the radio
up. My
friends tell me I
am the
funniest
person they
know. My
hair is
the
source of all my
superpowe rs.
I' m a serial spooner.
Cuddling and kissing are
non-negotiable for me. I don't know
if
I have a "type," but I
have
weakness for geeky,
offbeat
guys. Despite my
ambiguous
headline, I am
LTR oriented,
but I
don't
want to rush
into
anything
either. I hate
the games
associated with
dating, so if
you're a game
player keep
looking.
Grad school is DONE, and I
don't plan on getting another
degree. Job hunting now
for
positions in higher
education
administration.
I'm on here because Jake
Gyllenhaal hasn't proposed to
me
yet. Someday... until
then,
I'll
settle for a
romantic
guy who
likes to
cook, cuddle
on the
couch with
a movie,
and fall
sleep
in my arms. I tend to be attracted to educators and other guys with similar values.
I love
being outside in the
summer. I
don't claim to
be
athletic, but
I like
hiking,
tennis,
volleyball,
picnics, grilling out,
and
any
other excuse to be in
the sun.
Checking out
amusement
parks
and roller
coasters also
make for great
road trips! I
enjoy
traveling to anyplace
warm when
my time and budget
allows.
I would love to go on
another Caribbean cruise,
but I
have yet to explore
Canada
or
Europe. Any takers? I
have
also been to glorious
wine
country in northern
California--beautiful!
