I am different than most men you may encounter.  Despite my age according the the calendar, I feel much younger and if I colored my hair I would look younger as well.I am very liberal - both politically and socially and I am an organized type of person but only to a point.  I tend to go with the flow.  My new saying is that if you want to hear God laugh, just make plans...I am twice divorced but get along with both my ex's now than I did as a spouse.  Go figure.  I guess we both did some growing after the divorce...  I have 4 kids all from my first marriage.  2 boys 24 & 22 and 2 girls, 20 & 18.  All are in college this fall semester (Fall 2004)  I've had a vasectomy and am drug and disease free and am working toward a better body.  I'm 5'9" and 200lbs and want to lose a little weight.I am a photographer and videographer by profession.  Currently I'm back working in local TV news as a videotape editor for the local news shows.  I am looking for a better job because this doesn't allow for creativity and is too repetitive - not to mention the pay sucks.I am comfortable dressed up or casual and would even enjoy a nudist camp.  I'm pretty much willing to try anything once and then if I don't like it, then i won't repeat it.  I believe communication is the key to ANY type of relationship and so I prefer clear and direct communication.  There is no reason anyone should have to guess what the other is thinking or feeling.  Life's too short to play games and so I prefer people who are clear and direct about what they like and don't like and what they want and don't want.  I am a gentleman at all times but at the appropriate times I have my wild side as well.  I very much know how to treat a woman and how to listen to her - not only her words but also HOW she says (and doesn't say) things as well as her body language.  I am always focused on her h

Being a good dad despite the breakup of the marrige with my kids mother is important.  They all turned out well adjusted and are all in college and moving on with life in a healthy way.  I also a proud of my accomplisments as a photographer and videographer.  I very much enjoy that work and will always want it as part of my life.  I also enjoy umpiring baseball and softball in the spring and summer for high school and then the recreation leagues for younger kids.  I enjoy teaching and sharing what I know.  I also enjoy working on home improvement projects when I have the time and money.  I enjoy most things in life and have no problem compromising with someone to share things they enjoy that I may not necessarily share the same love for.  Life is to be lived and I want to get the most from life that I can because life's too short as it is and I want to go for all the "gusto" that I can... and it would be great to share the journey with a special someone.

I am hoping to find a woman who accepts me for ME and not someone that needs to be adjusted to be "perfect".  She should be open-minded, adventurous, liberal in a social sense as well as someone who is a good communicator - one who also prefers direct and clear communication with no guessing involved.  She should be at least proportional height and weight-wise.  She should like herself and her body and be happy inside and out.  I don't want to seem restrictive in my desires because I am quite open.  Beauty is a combination of physical appearance and attitude about life.  The best way to determine compatibility is by communicating and not judging by age or other other superficial things.
