I am a very positive upbeat kind of person.  I am somewhat of a romantic, OK...I am definately a romantic! I have a good sense of humor, love to laugh and look at life as the glass being overflowing!! I enjoy movies, both at home and in the theater, love to read, enjoy museums and other cultural attractions.  I like to walk for pleasure and for exercise...being by the ocean, Pacific or Atlantic is always a plus! I appreciate wit and intelligence... and my fella must be able to engage in articulate conversation.  I love many kinds of music, from classical to the fifties' romance of Sinatra/ Dean Martin, to new age, to solid rock...  I am a liberal person and openminded; one of my strengths, I believe is being nonjudgmental.  I love to travel, and have been to France once, which was amazing. I have enjoyed many different beaches, and love to walk/sit by the ocean.  I appreciate weekend get-aways, or just fun day trips!  I love animals, especially cats, of which I have three. (It just kind of worked out that way!) They are wonderful company, since I do live alone at this time. I also truly appreciate a quiet evening at home, whether it's watching TV, a movie or playing board games! 

  I am very proud ofmy two grown children, both of whom live a good distance from me.  They are wonderful people...does this not sound like a proud parent? I am sure that most of us would say this about our kids...but I love to be with my kids...and I like them as people.  They are bright, open-minded and nonjudgmental, which I find invaluable in this day and age.   An accomplishment of mine was going back to school for my Master's Degree a few years ago.  I had been teaching many years, the timing was right...so I went for it.  Another accomplishment, which happened 17 years ago, was my divorce.  It took  strength to get out of an abusive marriage, and each day since is a blessing! I am a stonger better person for it!
