I love the simple things in life yet can be very spontaneous and adventureous at times. I love to travel, especially near any large body of water, quiet dinners in romantic places, cuddling together and talking about the day. I am retired after working somewhere for almost 40 years. I have maintained a very pleasant home in a beautiful area and enjoy my garden and flowers and just watching the various animals that come walking out of the woods behind my house. I have traveled to 40 of the continential 48 states. I have driven over 8000 miles cross-country and back from the Atlantic to the Pacific, and from the Canadian Border to the Florida Keys. I like working with my hands and have done many wood-working projects and have now learned how to repair simple things in watches and small appliances. I love to cook and growing vegetables in my garden and once grew green peppers bigger than soft balls. Have raised, breed and trained horses and dogs and delivered many calves, foals, puppies and kittens while growing up on my parents farm. I have written over 130 poems and have had a few published by the International Poet's Society and Noble House Publishing Company. Writing has become a new passion for me.
