I love to laugh and have fun.  I like getting to know people and sharing good times.  I have never been a "wild child",  but I'm adventurous. I try to challenge myself with new things to continually grow ( I'm still taking college classes) and expand my horizons ( rode on the back of a Harley just to say "I did it").   I like reading about ways to improve myself and relationships with other people. I consider myself as stable(financially and mentally), dependable, confident, truthful, and trustworthy.  I take promises and commitment seriously.  I don't like it when people don't stand behind their word or when they don't treat me respectfully.  However, I'm very patient ( I work with kids) and forgiving ( part of my faith). Hope I don't sound like a saint, but really I'm just an average gal.  I love being outside and enjoying nature. Don't mind getting dirty, as long as I can take a hot shower. I like to see a good movie or just take a ride around the lake and watch the moon rise.  I like to be outside when a storm is brewing .  I& nbsp;like to watch the clouds roll in and the lightening strike. I like most animals and am compassionate enough to pray for a sick dog or missing cat ( even road kill if it adds a notch to my steering wheel). I guess you could say I'm a country girl.  Haven't lived in town for a long time.  It's just me, the coyotes and the coons pretty much. I  don't know what else to say, except maybe that I'm a born-again, baptized, bible reading, praise singing Southern Baptist...and I take it seriously.

I have put my life back together after a divorce seven years ago.  It was a struggle but it is better than it was and I have grown from the experience, but I certainly don't want to go there again!  I have continued my education to enhance my life both for self satisfaction and financial stability.  I started and helped with a divorce support group at my church.  We started a singles class and have had some tri-county singles events. I am very active in the singles ministry and my church.  I have gone on three Volunteer Christian Builders trips (have my own tools).  I would like to go again but I'm usually taking a college class that gets in the way.   I have two children, a daughter married with two kids and a son still in vo-tech school and home on weekends (to do his laundry). 

I'm a Christian and looking for someone that shares my Southern Baptist beliefs. I don't drink, dip, smoke, cuss or chew and not really interested in someone who does. I don't mind a man who works and gets dirty as long as he likes to clean up afterward (and aftershave drives me bananas!).  I have developed a liking for gray hair or even a little baldness, don't ask me why, I guess it's my age.  I think it is really nice when a man uses manners around a lady.  It just makes me feel special.  I like someone with a good sense of humor, but not cruel or raunchy.   I admire a man who can make good sound decisions and is self-confident about himself.
