Hello to one and all!  It's time to direct some energy in a new and exciting direction.  At 54 honesty and humor are the cornerstones of who I am.  If I can't figure out a way to make whatever I have to do fun, I'm probably not going to want to do it...but I will....because a promise is a promise.  So many years of getting kids raised has brought me to a crossroads where it's time to meet new people, learn new things, experience new fun stuff, and create new memories.  I would love to learn to trout fish and to dance.  Fun for me comes from being outside,  traveling, gardening, building on my house, fishing, fishing, fishing, flea markets, auctions, garage sales.  A good time for me can be a trip to Sonic followed by a stroll through Lowes or a trip to Hawaii....I like it all.  Really love walking all over Branson and Silver Dollar City and Orlando.  Enjoy the shops, houses, and hillsides of Eureka Springs.   Going to live music shows is a treat, even if I'm not crazy about the music.    Driving down a road just to see what is there is such fun.  Tracking down history and learning how the past colored the future is a positive experience.

I've been a nurse since God's been a corporal.  Our family has lived in so many places being in the military for 17 years and I really miss military association.  I have 3 daughters, 30, 27, and 27.  We asked God for a son and found out he has a sense of humor...got identical twin daughters.  I have 2 terrific grandkids, ages 4 and 5 so a quiet moment is a true blessing for me. My job now is a psychiatric nurse...yes, I'm a nut nurse...and love it and have learned to not be "thin-skinned" or over sensitive.   I have accomplished a happy life and good self esteem and an ability to roll with the punches and see the silver lining on nearly every situation....after I get over the bad news.  It would be so nice to find someone with whom to share new experiences and make some new memories. I am an zealot American with 10 US flags flying at my house and I love the USA.  I believe in the rights of all people and all people are created equal until they treat others badly.   That's not nice and nice is important to me.    

The person with whom I would like to spend happy times is a gentleman, easygoing, honest, funny, loves talking to new people, and respects others for who they are and how they got to be that way.  He is open to new experiences and willing to introduce me to new hobbies and places.  He won't be wierded out by the chaos of chattering children or crowded places but will also appreciate and enjoy lots of quiet time spent together watching movies, reading, talking,  people watching, or exploring new places.  Mind games, thin skin, and negativity are terrific turn-offs and  cologne and an appreciation of nature are turn-ons.  What is in the heart and mind are much more important than what is on the outside....but you've got to be able to keep up.  I'm really into being friends first and just see what develops.
