I hate this part. I'm *much* better at describing my cats than me. Well, my best friend's told me I'm smart, and witty, and funny. Sounds like a good place to start.


My favorite types of books and movies are sci fi and fantasy. I'm not a big fan of romance -- which is strange, because my parents are a prime example. They were childhood sweethearts and are still married forty-plus years later.

For TV, I'm an admittant forensics junkie. CSI, Cold Case (fiction and non), Forensic Files, all of those. The human mind, especially the darker parts, fascinates me.


Music-wise, there's very few things I won't listen to. I do prefer things I can sing along with. Musicals, swing, some pop.



Calling me a geek wouldn't be too far off. Actually, I'm a second generation geek, since my Dad was one of the original geeks in the Fifties.



Lately, I've been getting into computer graphics. Not much, just Paint Shop Pro stuff, but when I get back to college, I want to make it my major.



One thing you *must* know is that I am physically disabled. I'm not currently in a wheelchair, but I have been in the past, and will likely be in the future. One thing this means is I don't drive, and have to depend on others for taking me places. The other thing this means is I don't have a lot of energy and tire out quickly. So if you're a dance-all-night kind of gal, then I'm not for you. But if you're the type who prefers sitting by the fire, reading, then give me a wink.

I'm going to be honest here,

prednisone. I've been sick for the
last fourteen years with
vasculitis. But I'm in remission
and I'd like to live now instead
of just surviving.

What would I like? First off, I'd like a friend. Someone I can go shopping with, see musicals, laugh, that kind of thing. If romance happens, that's fine. If it doesn't, that's great too. Personal appearance doesn't matter -- really. The inside counts. Not the outside. Not sure what to put here, either.
