This is what I do to scrape up support for Uncle Sam... Professionally, I'm a Resp. Care Practitioner aka R.T., Respiratory Therapist. I handle the respiratory/cardiac needs from traumas and emergency care (Asthmatics, post surg. to Resp. Failure, etc.) cases to high risk deliveries & respiratory needs of premies and newborns. Extensive experience in ICU, NICU, PACU, and XYZ...Yes, it is extremely high stress & at times emotionally draining. Yet, supports a great lifestyle, both gratifying & rewarding.....where I have experienced on many situations literally been able bring a person or baby back to life...Now, that's Priceless...!!! You can't imagine any better reward. Being on staff at 1 Corp. Hosp. & associated w/7 other hospitals. I have control over my schedule so that I don't have to deal w/the politics. I've been in the medical field for over 25 yrs. Directed Departm'ts, taught classes and programs. Which all came w/a political cost. I can elaborate more when ever we meet. I decided to go into private practice... I submit a calendar where "I" dictate & have control over my schedule & the days "I" want off... I am immune to the politics. Being on staff full time is like selling your soul...I now make the "System" work for me rather than working for the "System".
