I've been living in Eugene for a little over four years, and loving every  minute of it. Oregon is so beautiful. I have a great job working at a local mental hospital (I just got promoted too!), and I'm passionate about making a difference in the world. I will not work in a field that doesn't allow me to serve the greater good in some way. I suppose I could be called a liberal altruist. I'm currently working on a B.S., but my ultimate goal is to earn a M.S. in Human Services Administration. I love practising a Japanese martial art known as Aikido, I enjoy going to the cinema, I meditate,and I like to spend time at the local parks with a good book when I have the chance. My favourite authors are Jack Kerouac and John Steinbeck. Like them,  I'm into the simple pleasures in life, but I can occasionally be coaxed into an adventure when the mood strikes!

Well, I'm not really one to brag, but I feel good about my recent accomplishments. I've been maintaining a 3.98 GPA in school, and working full-time graveyard shifts. I write poetry sometimes, and can churn out a nice piece of amateur art-work once in awhile. I know how to make sushi, I went to massage school, and I can make my own soap. I work out. I also never, ever snore.

I feel very fulfilled and on track with my life. I'm not looking for a woman to "complete me", but instead I would prefer someone who complements my life; a friend, lover, and partner. I'd love to get married and have kids with the right person, but I'm also willing to take my time and find the perfect match. In fact, I think it's a must. I'd like my partner to have her own opinions and goals, but I'd like us to have a few mutual interests as well. A well read, liberal woman would suit me. Intelligence, sensitivity, and vivaciousness are definitely pluses! Oh, and if you can tell me who the quote in my headline is from, you're probably my soul mate. What are you waiting for !?!?
