Hello ~ I am a 40 year old single male looking for that special someone who is ready to take the time to develop a friendship based upon important things in life. I would like to share the best things in life which are trust, honesty, empathy and sharing the same goals that form bases of a mature relationship. I have a passion for life, and life is made to be shared. Two areas that are important to me are music & art. I am deeply into being creative and would love to share this area of my life. I love animals, and at this time I am sharing my home with an African Grey parrot, named Zeus. If I had the time, I would like to have a dog as it has been a dream of mine since childhood. Another important part of my life is travel. I would like to travel around the country again and continue my travel oversees. It would be wonderful to be with someone who loves to travel and find new adventures. Although I like to travel, staying at home is also very important to me. Home is the place to return to -- a place that is cozy and safe -- a place that is dedicated to my art and music and a place to share with someone special. Even though I still enjoy going out at night, I now find myself greatly enjoying the quiet time at home alone or with friends. I would love to spend time with someone who likes to make things special -- whether it is going out or staying at home. Longer I live, the more I realize how important it is to relate to others and discover their interests and passions. At this point in my life, I am open to finding a person who is willing to give friendship a chance. I believe I have a great deal to offer and am willing to take the time to develop a relationship.
