For fun I walk on the beach, or entertain my friends at home and we eat out or see a movie. Home alone I get comfy, Harley (my cat) and I cuddle and watch a movie and I also read, write or do home projects. I make jewelry and write poetry. Traveling within 60 miles of home I visit beautiful scenic coastlines, wild rivers, waterfalls and Redwood Forests. I also camp at out of the way spots. I eat at cozy Chinese and Thai restaurants nearby and chat with friends at local coffee haunts. My favorite color is blue in all it's hues. On rainy days I get cozy and storm watch. You will find me at yard sales and thrift stores. I like the blues and light jazz along with many other types of music. Have you heard J. Garcia's bluegrass? My favorite author/poet is Maya Angelou. Her poem "Phenomenal Woman" is my favorite. "I'm a woman Phenomenally. Phenomenal woman, that's me." ;-) I read and write poetry and read newspapers, magazines and some short stores.
