First off, I'm a disabled vet. I hope this doesn't scare off anyone. I'm a recovering addict/alcoholic with 10 years, working on 11 years clean & sober. I don't go to very many concerts, giving to where I live. I go to 12 Step meeting regularly. I live very close to the ocean. I love photography. I'm 54 yo. My Doc says I'm a little overweight for my height. I like to walk on the beach, weather permitting. I don't go camping. I don't have a a lot of fancy toys and such. I get a 100% disability from the VA every month to live on. I love cats, not to keen on dogs. I'm not afraid to show my emotions. I like to think that I'm a good listener. When I meet that special lady, then I'll tell her my life story. I'm still writing my autobiography. I love life today. I love to laugh and to give someone a smile. I'm not a codependent, but I can be dependable and trustworthy. I'm a one-woman man. I like a 50/50 relationship. I'd like a team effort. I have my morals that I live by, no matter what. I have a Higher Power that I count on a daily basis.
My hobbies: photography, collecting moviies, mp3's (music and comedy that's been out of print for many years. Walks on the beach. I have a favorite beach that I go to a lot. I like to refinnish wood furniture. I have an older van that's been a project for a few years.
My biggest accomplishment is my sobriety. I haven't done this alone. I helped put together a homeless vet's house in Redding, CA.I built an in-home portrait photography studio in Tacoma, WA some years back. Currently, I working towards my private pilot's license. I work on computers. I have a Mac and a PC. I teach basic computers an OS sometimes by phone.
I'd like her to have a sense of humor be content with herself. If she's had some issues in the past, we might be able to work on them together. It would be nice if she would like some of the thing I like, and I can do some of the things she likes. She should be warm, kind, loving, caring, honest with her feelings and have her morals that she live by, no matter what. In other words, be herself.
