Seat backs and tray tables up now!
Hi there.. thanks for reading this! As you can see, I have a varied selection of various color to keep my life bright. I am 45 years young, 6'1" tall, 179 pounds of lean swimmer's built. I have blond hair and blue eyes. I took an early buyout offer from Delta Air Lines after flying for 23 1/2 years. My experiences there were far east to New Delhi, India and Moscow, Russia... I went as far west as Seoul, Korea. I flew to Buenos Aires, Agrentina, Lima, Peru, Santiago, Chile, San Jose,Costa Rica, San Juan Puerto Rico, Anchorage and Fairbanks, Alaska, a plethora of US domestic trips, and of course Honolulu, and Kahalui in the great Hawaiian Islands. As a Dutch language speaker, the majority of my flights took me to Amsterdam, Netherlands, or to Brussels, Belgium. So, I have almost flow around the world either going to the east or to the west. It was an awesome carreer, but 9/11 changed the entire scope of aviation history! It became much more serious when we were now trained to suspect every single passenger. There are so many variations in wardrobe of the different cultures, so what is strange to an American, is likewise to them. I found it best to keep a low profile, and blend with the crowd. Obviosly, I was selected based on my ability to get along with one and all types of people. Some were people and stories to tell in a book. I guess I'll get off of my soapbox for now. Thanks for reading...
I as honored several times as flight attendant of the year at Delta. I was a part of Delta's new low fare ticket "SONG". We developed song with 14 Boeing 757's painted with a lime green flourish and flew Northeast to Florida routes in competition with JetBlue. We rocked them out of several markets with our style of service.. it was soooo unlike Delta's stiff cut workforce.. we had the opportunity to express ourselves with live safety demonstrations done to a jazz, classical, soft rock,or opera sound track. I don't know if you have ever flown, but this type of music played during our boarding. I remember one passenger who stepped onboard asking "What is this"... Three Dog Nights "who are you" was playing as a part of our boarding music, so I had to laugh with her when she said she could remember that song.
I think I would like to meet someone who has similar interests in travel, outgoing personality, with an awesome sense of humor. He should be attractive, and care about his looks. I got a haircut yesterday, and one of the girls I work with told me you look so different today.. did you do something? I told her that I had my ears lowered. She said "oh, I thought your ears were always covered up, so that's different?" I said yes. 30 minutes later she came up to me and said I made her look like a fool when she talked to a supervisor, to see if I was ok after surgery. The supervisor said "Perry got his haircut". We all roared in laughter.
