I have a very soft heart and perhaps cry too easily - at TV shows, books, weddings, etc.  It's who I am.  I have a terrific sense of humor and like to kid around - without being mean.  I have a pretty well developed sense of the ridiculous, I love to laugh.  What's important to me are my children and seeing them happy.  I also want to be happy - that's important too!  I don't know what makes me unique. I love to cook, read and watch tv and movies.  I love American Idol and Dancing with the stars; also 2 1/2 men, House, Law and Order SVU, and all kinds of old shows.  One of my favorite things to do is sit on my porch and watch the people go by.  I love to go swimming in the summer - I hate the heat and humidity, but if I'm by a pool or at the beach I'm good.  I hate being hot so I love Air conditioning and don't put the heat on in my bedroom in the winter.  If I'm cold, I'd rather snuggle up to my partner than use the heat! 

I have worked at the same agency for almost 13 years.  I started at the bottom in direct care and worked my way up to my current position as Manager of Human Resources.  I got my Masters in HR in 12/06.  I did it online and it was hard!  But so worth it to get that degree.  Two more of my proud accomplishments are my children.  A boy and a girl, both in college and well on their way to a successful, happy life.  It took me a long time, but I mustered the courage and left my very unhappy marriage after almost 19 years.  It was something I should have done earlier but I wanted to be able to support myself. 

I'd like to meet someone who will cherish and love me as I will her.  Someone who doesn't say mean or cutting things just because...A woman who accepts me for who I am; change is wonderful if it's something we agree on, but I pretty much like me the way I am.  I'd love to find a woman who loves to cuddle.  Someone who wants me as much as I want her.  A woman who loves to kiss, just for kissings sake.  A woman who isn't afraid to hold my hand in public and who likes to have me put my hand on her thigh while we're driving.  And vice versa!  I'm very affectionate and I love to show it to my love.   It would be nice if we had a lot in common, but some differences are good.
