So, I'm totally into new age spirituality - I guess that's a pretty strange way to start off my description, but I figure I should be real with you all. I'm into astrology and numerology and regularly engage in guessing games about other people's signs, and yes, I won't date people of certain signs (that means you, Gemini). There isn't a day that doesn't go by that I don't read tarot cards, and I do loving-kindness meditations several times each week. I'm really big into positive affirmations as well, and what is referred to as "light work." It all sounds pretty strange, but rest assured that I'm actually a relatively grounded person with a practical mind -- usually. I'm currently a college student, majoring in Secondary Education - English, with a minor in Special Education. I really look forward to teaching because I have a huge passion for helping others find their "voices," and then teaching them how to effectively use them - that's probably the greatest skill any person could have in the world we live in. I have a huge passion for literature as well, and am open to any suggestions about good books, and I'd love to chat with people about them! I currently work from home as a proofreader, usually freelance - it's pretty monotonous work, but I enjoy it. I'm really big on spelling, grammar and syntax. I guess that's another peculiarity, but I don't much care, I've always loved editing other people's work - that's the Virgo in me.
