I am a South Carolina native born and raised and living in Charleston, SC.  I am a democrat (rare for the south) so I am a liberal minded but a truly southern person. I lived in Seattle for 15 years, so the SC edge has been rounded off and lost my accent, but still have the mentality of a southern man.  I have lived in the city and loved the excitement of it, but now at age 48, I have opted for a slower pace.  Life goes by so fast as it is, so I wanted to actually stop and notice my surroundings, my friends and my life.  Left the big city and came back to Charleston 18 year ago.  love it! I am a hairdresser in a fast paced, high energy salon in Mt.
