I am an easy-going person most of the time. I love to talk (but not on the phone). I can be feisty at times, but for some reason, the people who know me seem to find it appealing (go figure!). I love to laugh and I can have a sarcastic sense of humour sometimes. I enjoy going to the movies and dining out every once in a while. I find cooking and painting to be the most therapeutic activities; especially cooking! Travel is nice! I love to read, also. My idea of a nice evening is eating a home-cooked meal, nice conversation, and then curl up on the couch and watch a good thriller or romantic comedy.
I am a striver. I have yet to set a goal that I have not worked my hardest to achieve. However, I am a realistic person and I understand that there are times in life when you have to just step back and let things happen on their own, especially those things that cannot be controlled.
In my years as an independent woman, I have come to realize that not all we set out to accomplish is actually achieved in our lifetime... much less, alone. Some things just require a strong partnership. I have had a few relationships, some gratifying... some not so gratifying... Bottom line, I would like to meet someone with two brain cells working in their heads, who will not feel intimidated by a woman who wants to pick his brain and understand him. Sharing is important, perhaps the most important trait in any relationship....
