The first defining detail about my life is my Naval Career. The little option only tells you I have a government job, but I chose to enlist in the Navy. My job is to operate the nuclear reactors that drive our ships through the sea That seemed really cool at first, but it is mostly just an inconvenience that may scare off Mr. Right. Please don't run away just cause I'm military! I don't bite... The Navy still isn't cool about being gay, so I have to try to hide (my desire to do so is fading) and my schedule will be unforgiving, but other people have made it work and I will bend over backwards to work it out if you'll give me a chance. If we have something special that lasts, it will only be a few years and when I'm out I will have a secure future and a steady job, so this Navy thing will pay off eventually. Now about Me: I am a real geek. I like sci-fi movies and cartoons, but I also enjoy doing the little things that are too often overlooked. I like taking walks or drives without a destination and talking and listening to good rock music and just cuddling on the couch or in the bed for hours. I like taking the time to savour my food and I love to speculate about anything and everything. I can sometimes be a little bipolar and I tend to be kind of random, but I can definitely mellow if I am being too annoying. The thing I need the most is feedback. I want to know that if I'm doing something wrong, you'll tell me about it right away. I like guys that are in charge, but I also kind of like to test that. If I try to rock the boat its only cause I like to know that you're still in charge and will respond.One little detail, I'm kind of impish so if you're with me you should have a sense of humour and like to play along.

I'm looking for the strong willed type who will be willing to take charge and is used to making decisions. He should be considerate of me, but unafraid to be himself. I would like a guy who will encourage me to try new things and support me when I'm feeling less than confident.
