A busy mom in Spring Hill
I'm a single mom, raising 3 great kids. I'm 45 and my children are 15, 12 and 10. They occupy a good deal of my time. I also have four-leged kids and love animals of all kinds. I finally can say we're not new to TN, but have been here 2 years. We're all CA natives, but wouldn't ever consider moving back. I've spent most of the last 8 years raising my family on my own and didn't really have time for my own social life. The kids are older and more self sufficient now, so now I get to focus (a little) on me! I work from home, which gives me the flexibility to spend time with the kids. This means working on homework during school months and taking them to the park and swimming with them (almost daily) going on outtings during the summer. We all love country music...okay, not my son!, but also enjoy everything else except rap. I don't like the nightlife scene, but can enjoy going to clubs for dancing on occasion. I like quiet nights at home or one on one excursions. I love reading and do that often. I am an avid sports fan, so you can expect me to be watching my football and nascar on Sundays and taking in hockey games whenever the desire strikes. We used to be Kings fans, but don't worry, we root for the Pred's now. We're also at every Independance home game. t's pretty difficult to sum yourself up in a paragraph, but i'm happy to expand if given the opportunity. Please note that i'm old fashioned, in that I don't typically make the first move, or contact a man. I still prefer to be contacted, rather than do the pursuing. Sorry, but it's not in me. (I know, it's hard to believe, since i'm on an internet site). Apparently there are many women much more agressive then me, but I can't get past the old stereotype.
