My idea of a fun weekend would be spending time in the mountains hiking, seeing waterfalls or maybe horseback riding. I can be spontaneous and love to laugh and enjoy lively conversations. I am easy to get to know and am very open. My expressions usually give away what I am thinking or feeling, (read me like a book). I don't play mind games. I am a good listener and pretty even tempered. I suppose that I could be considered a hopeless romantic. I can be shy at times but mostly I am outgoing and talkative. I am kind and generous and always trying to make sure that everyone has what they need. I like to experience new things and new restaurants.
My interest are varied from arts and crafts to studying local TN history and genealogy, writing, cooking, reading, being outdoors.
I've been in the Air Force and because I had college credit I earned my stripes early. In two years and 10 months just before I got out, I tested for Staff Sgt.
I have my degree in Social Work and have worked in that field for about 12 years. Burned out now.
I have had 2 short stories published, and have finished the first draft of a novel.
I also have 2 wonderful children, my son 23 and daughter 19.
I want someone to be a friend and companion first. I would hope to share common interests and new adventures and let friendship develop into something more given time. I want someone who appreciates the good in people and one who is encouraging and has a good outlook on life.
