I am a woman, a mother, a teacher, a sister, a friend and best of all a grandmother, "Mommy Ann."  I love children, have 6 of my own and 7 grands.  My life has been blessed with many adventures, opportunities and challenges.  Being retired, I find that freedom to travel and learn about new things intrigue me most.  My church is important to me as is my journey with the Lord, which is a blessing each day.  I stay busy being involved in my business which I started 30 years ago.  It is very successful and is a great service to families, a child development center.  Education is my speciality so I've had to learn the business end of it the hard way.  I've taught kindergarten and university level for 33 years as well as operating the business.  Working with college students and young children has allowed me to travel to 3 foreign countries to study and teach in their schools;  namely, China, Russia and South Africa.    I want to write children's books, do more traveling and get involved in a new relationship.

I have two degrees, with honors and my Masters Degree is in Early Childhood Education from University of North Texas.  My greatest accomplishment has been rearing my children and being the mother of six.  I was selected as Outstanding Woman of America, Who's Who Among America's Teachers and Outstanding Business Woman of the Year.  I am a member of several groups, volunteering and advocating for families and children.  I am also a member of Friends of Rotary, Woman's Club and Delta Kappa Gamma.  I stay very involved with family and church activies.

My soul mate would be kind, compassionate, loving, assertive, funny, appreciative and wise.  He would be honest and respectful, strong and dependable, caring and compatible.  Most of all, he would be a Christian man with values and character and a grateful heart.
