I think the thing that really makes me unique is my personality.  I'm always honest with people and believe living your life with honesty and integrity is very important.  However, I am also a woman who will tell you what I think if you ask my opinion about any issue, so if you don't want to know what I think, don't ask for my opinion.  LOL  I am also very romantic.  My favorite place to visit is the mountains. I love spending time with friends and family who are a very important part of my daily life. I at least talk to one member of my immediate family daily, so someone who loves family is a must. I have 1 daughter who's grown, but we are still very close and are currently living with each other. I enjoy people who like to have a good time, but not the bar scene. I got past that in my 20's, but I am known to have an occasional drink with dinner. I love my computer, but prefer to talk on the phone or in person. I am very much a dog person. I have 2 adult Boxers, a Yorkie, and a Poodle, so I do love dogs, but I can tolerate some peoples cats.  Our female Boxer had a litter of 10 puppies on May 28, 2007,  so we really have dogs now.  LOL  I enjoy cooking and eating, but hate to clean up the mess afterward, then again who does. LOL I like to go on spontaneous trips for the weekend and enjoy intimate conversation by the fire maybe sipping  on wine. I love music, but prefer classic rock and newer country. I love going to concerts! I am fairly easy going, at least I think. LOL I love dining out, but enjoy staying home and maybe cooking together just as much. I believe my biggest accomplishment was raising my daughter as a single mom from the time she was a couple of months old until adulthood.  She got all the way through high school without being on drugs and not getting pregnant, so I think I did a good job.  The only other major accomplishment I believe I have done was getting through nursing school while my daughter was in high school.  We graduated within 2 weeks of each other, so my life was very hectic at that time.  I believe I was always there for her when she really needed me no matter how much sleep I lost studying.  So, I guess you could say I believe being a good mom was important to me and I reached that goal.  

I believe this is the most difficult part of any dating site, because 2 people may be compatible who would never think they would be.  However, I will try to describe what kind of man I'm looking for.  First and foremost is a man who is honest with me from the beginning and is faithful to me.  If you already have a wife or a girlfriend, then you shouldn't have your profile on a dating site.  That's my opinion, but I'm very strong in my feelings about that.  I normally date men who are over 6' tall, but have been known to go out with someone shorter if I really like them.  I am looking for a man to be my best friend and possible life partner. At the risk of sounding like I'm looking for another dog, I want a man who is honest, loyal, very faithful, and fun to be with. Since I am very loving and passionate, the man in my life must be as well. I don't have time to play head games, so please don't contact me if that's what you are into.
