I retired from teaching a few years ago. Now I work at home online. I have few real skills, but I am occasionally adept at indoor cooking and outdoor gardening. My husband died nine years ago. I miss being loved and loving, of course, but I mostly miss his steaks. I wish I knew someone who could grill steaks the way he could. Mmmmm.
Let's face it -- you want one girl for the body, one girl for the brain, another one for the money, and one to just dote on you. All I want is one sweet man who looks good, sounds good, smells good,
tastes good, and feels good most of the time.
We can live anywhere, you and I. We can buy an old house in a garden district somewhere and spend autumn days fixing it up or we can design and build our own. You'll love my eye for color; I'll love your skills with a saw. In spring and summer we'll dig in the dirt and make bigger, better flower
beds. We'll lament the fact that our grandparents knew how to grow vegetables and we don't. We'll take a trip once a year to a place we've never been. We'll visit the children as often as we can. Mostly we'll hang out together at home enjoying each other's company. We'll watch "Survivor" and "American Idol" and "The Amazing Race." We'll cook together often and grill steaks at least once a week. We'll put our gray heads together and figure out ways to make our days together more graceful. You'll say "I love your mind" and I'll say "You are so kind" because you truly are the kindest man I've ever met.
