The Reason I have a profile here: Ten years ago I was happily married and then the next thing I knew I was a single mother with young kids and no support. I lost the life I had and my kids lost their dad. I would still be married because commitment is important to me but I finally had to let go. At this time the kids are almost grown. I don't want a daddy for them although I do think it is good for them to see me in a healthy relationship with someone they like. I am looking for a best friend and playmate for me. Someone bold and challenging that will make the next phase in my life fun and warm and interesting. What I prefer: Someone with a sense of adventure and a wicked sense of humour. I am looking for the man that is with me on a Friday evening sitting on the couch watching a movie and on the movie they are fish off an all night pier and he looks and me and says..."Hey wanna run to the coast and try that in the morning?" knowing that it means loading up the kids (his, mine, extras) and then hitting the road. Or looks up festivals to go to and plans a weekend getaway (all he has to do is check with my kids to make sure I am free) and then surprises me.... Or if I call and say "are you interested in finding out what Hueco Tanks is all about?" he wants to go. What I offer: A very twisted sense of humour. I am a great best friend and the kind of woman that will try and listen and is smart enough to understand that sometimes women and men just are talking two different languages and saying the same thing. I am t... but I do work out and am looking for someone that is interested in staying healthy and working at a healthy lifestyle with exercise and diet (if you watch a lot of tv just pass me by). I look younger than I am. I love a great steak with all the trimmings and a cold beer. Hot tubs are wonderful. I guess I should add that I can cook and like to.
