They say life begins at 40. I say bring it on! I have been divorced for over 6 years now. Between home, church and work, I've had no time to look for that man of my dreams. I work with the mentally retarded and have a great sense of humor. There are a few extra pounds but I'm still a very attractive female. Have almost given up hope that there is really someone out there for me. I attend church regularly and would love to have that special someone sitting beside me to worship Jesus together. "For when two or more come together in My name..." I believe the Lord will send the right man to me when the time is right. I enjoy watching sports and going out to movies and resturants. Dancing is something that I miss very much. I love to travel, but have very limited time and a very bad car. Long drives to Carlsbad, Ruidoso, Roswell and other surrounding areas are a treat for me. Am not materialistic, prefer the better things in life: a childs hug, a sunset or sunrise, a gentle breeze, enjoying the beauty that the good Lord has placed for us to enjoy.
I am employed as a Residental Director for the Mentally Retarded. Although that sounds like a very prominent position, it is really simple. I am the supervisor to a group home. The hardest part of my job is keeping the facility staffed at all times. I have been lucky to find a job that I love so much, it astounds me to believe that I actually get paid to do it. (Not that I get paid much!) I am the mother to three beautiful children. What's so beautiful is two are already out on their own and only one more to go. LOL. Have to have a great sense of humor and be flexible with my time. I attend church on a regular basis and am very strong in my faith. If you are not, you are looking at the wrong profile. I read my bible daily and listen to christian music. With out the Lord, I would be lost in all aspects of life. My life is much better with Jesus and a man interested in me must love the Lord as much if not more than I do!
A man who loves the Lord more than himself. Someone who wants to serve. It's time I was treated the way the Lord intended a woman to be treated. A man who does the right thing because it is the right thing to do. A combination of John Wayne, Ronald Reagan and Jimmy Stewart. A man's man that carries himself with respect and respects others around him. Must have a sense of humor, duty and honor. A man of character. I have done life on my own for a long time. I've had to be the mother and father for way too long. Other than Jesus being with me, I have done it all alone. I am independant, but I want a man who wants to be my protector, my shoulder to cry on, my sounding board when I get upset and also my strength when I become too weak.
