Geez....never thought you'd be here?? Hahaha...me neither!! But here we are!!

I am a 34 year old female in the medical profession. I work as a flight paramedic here in El Paso...but I'm originally from New York. I've never been married and have no kids...unless you count the fur ball I call my dog! (I was kinda wondering if I could write her off on my taxes this year...?) I'm looking to have a good time, make some real connections with people, meet some new people and make some new friends! One can never have too many friends. I am big on letting things lead themselves to where they belong naturally...so if friends turns into more...Fantastic!!


So...I have probably attempted this whole profile thing a few times times now..and each time I sit down, I wonder how it is that a person can accurately describe themselves through words alone. I think the beauty of people are found through their actions, their presence and the role that they eventually play wi...ife, be it a friend, confidant, co-worker or even a lover. That being said...I'll give it my best shot to describe myself and the things that I believe are important in my life.

Honesty. That has to be, above all, the most important thing in life to me. I have always found that as long as people are honest, its all good. I am not a judgemental person, but I do take offense to people that feel that they have to lie in life or have to tell less than the truth because they believe that that will make them acceptable to others. I am a very upfront person...probably too honest...I tell it like it is (at least how i see it) and I respect others' opinions. What you see is what you get with me....take it or leave it. I guess that that can sometimes offend people...but I figure I'd rather hear the truth from people than just what people think someone wants to hear.

Respect. I think respect is necessary in any relationship..or at least any relationship that is meant to last past a casual acquaintance.

I hope to find someone who is laid back but has opinions (and is not afraid to show them!), happy in their life but ambitious, loves to travel (I love to fill up the gas tank and just GO!), someone who is spiritual and feels connected, someone who would like children, and just someone that I can relate to and vice versa. Someone who is just as excited to come home to me as I am to see them! A person who is happy doing just about anything! No drama...no BS...I'm not a fan. I have learned in life that when two people find they would like to be in a committed relationship, it is still important to keep each other's individuality. Meshing life and love together is a wonderful thing and can truly make life fulfilling, but having some seperate interests can definitely bring diversity to the relationship.
