Where to start?  Well, simply put, I am "me," an unique individual out to meet new and interesting people.  There's no real way to completely sum up one's self in a paragraph or two, but I can give you a generalized idea.  If like what you read and we click, then we can go from there. First and foremost, I have a son and he is my number one priority.  If that is a problem in any way, shape, or form then please don't waste your time or mine contacting me.  We are a package deal.  Secondly, I'm currently in the middle of pursuing my associate's degree and am set to graduate in March of 2009.  From there, I'm planning to attend NMSU for my bachelor's degree.  My son and my education come before anything else. With all that out of the way, onto describing myself.  I'm a very strong person on my way to establishing my independence.  I tend to speak my mind.  I love to laugh and have a great sense of humor.  I'm only serious when it's needed.  I'm usually caught with a smile on my face.  I'm an outdoor/indoor person.  I love going out as much as I do staying in.  I'm an Army brat and grew up in El Paso for the most part, so I do claim being a Texan.  I'm a Navy vet and served four years aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln, stationed out of Washington state, as an Aviation Ordnanceman.  I've been all over the world and plan on continuing seeing more of it.  My favorite country was Greece.  I would love to go back.  I'm overall a very open and non-judgemental person who is just trying to make the best of every moment in life.

I'd like to meet someone who can be faithful and knows how to be truthful.  Those are my two biggest concerns.  Then of course, there's your typical attributes: sweet, caring, kind, ect.  I'd like to meet someone who has a positive attitude and can have fun in almost every situation, a sense of humor is wonderful.  I would like someone who has goals in life, knows where they want to be in the future and are actively pursuing it.  I thrive on good converstation so you'll have to be able to hold one.  I'm past the "going out every night and drinking" phase of my life, therefore I'd like someone who is as well.  I have my drink or two throughout the week and my occasional weekends, but getting trashed every night isn't my thing.  I can tolerate smoking as long as it isn't inside or my son.  Drugs are a definate turn off and I refuse to be around any of it.  Overall, I'd like to meet a nice, sensible, mentally-stable person, who is good with kids, doesn't mind being friends and taking it from there.  I'm not looking for a one night stand or to be "friends with benefits."  I'm in no rush and prefer to take it slow.
