I enjoy my job and plan on working another 8 to 10 years. I love my animals witch consist of dogs, a cat, a bird, and 4 fish. I rescue dogs and cats and have been successful in placing them in homes. I am a Christian Conservative, Tea Party type person although I don't belong to a local group. I don't have much in common with liberals. I watch Fox News, Cooking channel, Hal Lindsey, Jack Van Empy, Science Channel, DYI, History channel, etc. I like to research things on the computer. I don’t watch many movies, I like some music but it isn’t playing all the time in my home or my car. If I had my choice of listing to a real good teaching on the gospel or music I would take the teaching. I don’t care for traveling, maybe a day trip or an overnighter every once in a while. I don’t kill animals, so hunting is out of the question. I love to eat fish but don’t care about catching them.  I enjoy working around the house and in the yard. I like lots of plants and flowers in my yard. It is not unusual to see me with a power tool of some sort in my hand. I like to remodel and redecorate. I was a florist for about 20 years so I like working with my hands.
We have to be friends first. We can see if that leads to anything special. I would like a person that does not take themselves or life to seriously. You need to be Christian in action not just words. Someone that cares about our country and politics and takes an active part in getting things changed. I e-mail my representatives and congressman all the time. I believe in speaking up and letting my voice be heard. Someone that enjoy some time with friends and family but doesn’t have to have company all the time. o:

At 61 I have done so many things we will just have to discuss them when we meet. I am at this time in my life working full time in a job that I like and hope to retire with them in the next 6 to 8 years.

I am only interested in a devout Christian that attends church weekly. I would like a person that has compassion for animals. Likes to go out to eat once or twice a week, but will join me in a healthy life style. I would like someone that likes to do project around the house, remodeling, gardening, etc. Please, don’t respond to this if you believe sex before marriage is alright.
