I'm currently attending the nearby university and love it.  I'm intelligent, love to laugh, tend to listen more than talk, but I do have my moments when I like to talk.  I enjoy having intelligent conversation about today's issues.  Reading is one of my most favorite pastimes, love to curl up with a good book! I know how to cook and how to keep my home clean.  I'm independent, but love to give the man his place in a relationship, so expect to do the driving because I don't even drive my male friends around. I know how to treat a man good, but expect the same in return.  All my life I have been pretty active, like to play tennis, jog, work out with weights, and am a green belt in karate.  I live every moment to the fullest, if we work I do it with all my heart, and if we play, same thing.

I really believe that my friends would be more in a position to tell you about my accomplishments than I would.  They're the ones that have seen my struggles and my victories.  Normally when one thinks of accomplishments, you want to rattle off a list of degrees, certificates, ribbons, and trophies.  Whatever proof of accomplishments I may have hung upon my walls or hidden in the top corner shelf of my closet cannot compare to the accomplishment of being able to have lifelong friends, or children that are making a good living and are not in trouble, or knowing the peace of not having bill collectors calling you, to walk into a pawn shop to just look around, to recognize the needs of others so that you can pray for them, to drink in the beauty of sunrises and sunsets, and experience the joys of selfless giving, to witness the birth our your first grandchild, to continue to love even though your heart has been broken, to forgive so as to live beyond the pain.  Our greatest accomplishments should be reflected in the people our lives touch.

I enjoy men that are intelligent.  Smart guyes, challenge my thinking, and I like that. I'm not really looking for a pretty face, tend to be attracted to the ruggedly handsome ones.  Being active and always looking to improve on himself is a must. I don't care to meet the "this is who I am, take me or leave me type". Need to meet someone willing to grow and discover greater things about himself, someone who likes the theater and going to the symphony, just as much as going to the movies or dancing.  Oh, yes and good oral hygene is a must!
