I believe I am loving, patient, considerate and fun. I am told I am fun to be with and appear (at least to me) popular with both men and women. I am very active in my church (LDS) and would like my companion to join me in that endeavour. I am retired and do lots of handicrafts from crocheting to working with gourds. My Nickname (Butterfly Lady) refers to my hobby of painting beautiful butterflies on soda bottles, cutting them out and adding antenna and a suction cup. Everyone I know owns at least one.
I am divorced after almost 37 years of marriage and can still claim my ex-husband as a friend. Since my divorce I have managed to buy a home and my finances are in order. I was born in Ogden, UT, raised in San Diego, CA and now live in East Texas. I am 66 years old and would truly love to share what is left with my life with someone who wants to give and receive lots of affection both physically and emotionally.
Oh my! I am the oldest of 9 children, 8 of whom still survive. I have 2 children and 5 grandchildren and don't expect to get any more of either one. I worked all of my adult life at various occupations. Bookkeeper, Radio Traffic Controler, Secretary, Real Estate Sales and Policewoman to name a few. I have worked at plumbing companies, radio stations, furniture store, and a major league baseball team. It's been a great life! Now I stay busy with church activities, my home, my Yorkshire Terrier and my crafts.
I have no preset notion of physical appearance as I subscribe to the notion that "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder". I hope to find a gentle, kind, thoughtful, whole person who has love to give and is interested in receiving the same. My ultimate goal is to meet and marry a man for time and all eternity.
