I am an old fashioned type of woman. I still cook from scratch and mend or fix it rather than throw it out. I like to travel (short trips) by car, dance, go out to eat and visit friends. I enjoy the simple things, like drinking a cup of coffee while listening to the rain on the roof. I love old sifi movies and old B&W movies without all the cussin' in them. I like most all westerns, horror films, comedy & adventure/drama films. Music is a big thing in my day, C&W older stuff and old R&R. I do like some blues and some light jazz. I like to quilt and cook. My friends say I am a good cook, and a great friend. I like to listen rather than talk, but goodness, don't get me started! Hahaha!!!. I believe we get out of life what we put in, so I am a solid believer in helping others when ever I can, and being kind in my words and deeds. I enjoy time with my kids, and grandkids, but as I get older, I find a few hours are plenty of time to wear me out! I read, sew, knit, crochet and attend Sunday School every sunday. I enjoy reading, and several computer games (off line) .I was married for 44 years and he passed away 2 1/2 years ago, but in our early 30's we were with a MC group, so I do have several tattoos... if this bothers you, I can't hide them. Life is short and getting shorter, so I am looking for a man to enjoy the simple things in life, and wants to share his life with me.
