I was widowed in 2005 after 37 years of a good marriage to a good, attractive, fun loving, solution minded man. That successful marriage followed a 7-year marriage that ended in divorce.   I am retired from the business world, and am currently playing at being a home-based travel agent.  I am a romantic at heart, love dancing and candlelight dinners with good music and good conversation, as well as a picnic in the park or at the lake. Fishing's great if you bait the hook for me, and I prefer rivers over lakes.  I don't like hunting.  I am active,  socially outgoing, patriotic with a conservative view,  and somewhat of a bleeding heart.  Having been voluntarily shut-in with my husband and his long-term illness for a number of years, I am somewhat out of touch with the community service work that we both enjoyed, but am becoming active in my Church again, and going out socially.  I don't mind a moderate amount of drinking, but as a former smoker, I cannot tolerate any kind of tobacco habit.  My favorite dance music is Big Band, and I enjoy our area Senior Citizen dances where Country Swing abounds!  I actually teach beginning Line Dance classes in a small town about 45 minutes away.  I enjoy listening to all jazz and most classical music, as well as blues.  The Rock & Roll of my day is a huge favorite!   I would love to understand opera and the ballet.  I like being taught.  I enjoy the limited stage productions available in my hometown, from the community amateur theatre to the Symphony.  I enjoy travel, and have a Tahitian and some Carribean cruises in my travel log, but love the home scene as well.  I have parasailed in Tahiti and swam with the Stingrays off Grand Cayman.  As a young woman, I raced go-carts!  I love home dinner parties as well as eating out.  I read dramatic fiction, watch dramatic TV and an occasional movie.  If there is such a creature as a dramatic woman with a great personality, I'm it!  I have no biological c

Retired from the business community, where I owned and operated an Independent Natural Health Food and Supplement business for 15 years, following owning and operating a local art gallery, representing area artists, and a Square and Round Dance Apparel shop for a number of years, where I designed many of the fashions sold.  Wife and homemaker, legal assistant and executive assistant for many years, with an interest in Church and community service work and social organizations, and currently I am playing at being a home-based travel agent.  As personal interests, I studied Fashion Design and Interior design. 
I sold my Nutritional Supplement business in 2003 in favor of staying home with my terminally ill husband until his death in 2005.
I dance three to six times a week, mostly at Senior Citizen country and western dances, and I teach Line Dance to a group of Senior men and women once a week at a small town about 45 minutes away.
