Living in southwest Va. and waiting for the leaves to turn I am an educator with a love of learning and love of the great outdoors. I travel from Fl to MI on a regular basis. Exploring new places is one of my great passions. I grew up in Miami,Fl, but moved to VA after I graduated from college. I have 3 wonderful children that are on their own.  I walk 2 miles 3 times a week and exercise regularly as my son is a math teacher and also part time physical fitness trainer and he tries to keep me in shape. I've been teaching elementary school for 36 years. I'll brag later! I am very active. My newest endeavor is to try my hand at French cooking. Julia Child I am not, but I enjoy experimenting in the kitchen. Last summer I visited the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse in the Outer Banks and climbed all 267 steps to the top. It was a beautiful sight to see; the point and the ocean. I toured the Wright Brothers Museum and walked where they walked! In Orlando this summer, I enjoyed Sleuths Mystery Dinner Show. You become the detective. It was hilarious! Lots of Irish Pubs to enjoy and the food was excellent at the one I visited.

I am looking for a nice-looking man who is outgoing and has a great sense of humour. I want an optimist. It would be great if he enjoyed football, traveling, and the outdoors.
