I'm a loving, caring woman who's been on her own for awhile now, and ready to seek someone who is also that way.  I'm independent, but no longer as headstrong as I once was.  My greatest joy is my children, who are also my greatest accomplishment.  Both of them are happy and in love and self-sufficient, so I don't hear from them as much as I'd like, especially as my daughter, who used to live here, has joined her fiance in Houston.  But I have a son, too.  I'm a positive thinking person who has overcome enormous obstacles in life.  I have a deep faith in God and consider each day a gift.

As I said, my two grown children, I feel, are my greatest accomplishment.  I made sure I was home when they were, even though it meant tightening our belts quite a bit during those years.  I matriculated at Georgetown while they were growing up, and I hope my example as a diligent scholar enabled each of them to value a good education and become scholars themselves.  I am also very proud of my degrees from Georgetown University, my BA Magna cum Laude, and my MA.  I was inducted into the Alpha Sigma Lambda Honor Society (for late bloomers), and I am a beaded Wood Badge in Boy Scout leadership skills.  Perhaps my volunteer service with the BSA helped my son become an Eagle scout.

I hope the man for me is loving and caring, able to express his feelings and make himself heard.  Your personality can be gregarious or introverted, but you need not be as handsome as my father was (he's still around, btw).  I need a man who doesn't have to drink to be happy, who knows who he is and is comfortable with himself.  He'd have to enjoy hard work and be self-sufficient financially.
