I was brought up by intelligent parents who were conservative and somewhat religiously fundamental. Of course all that has changed quite a bit and they love me for who I am. I am out at work, out to my friends and immediate family. I took piano lessons at an early age and developed a love of classical music which I still have today. I live with my roommate in my home in Charlottesville VA. I work in the finance field and find it very interesting, especially right now. In my spare time I like to work out, surf the net, read fiction or non-fiction and occasionally play video games. I cook "some". I'm not bad at it...not great...

I have lots of accomplishments throughout my life. Earlier on, my accomplishments were for musical performance and composition. Later in High School, it was my thing to compete for top spots on the Virginia All-State Choir, Virginia Honors Choir, All-County, and All-District Choirs. My innate musical ability is tremendous. Physically I like to try new things. I've hiked to the top of Mount Rogers (highest peak in Virginia) and am always seeing how far I can push myself. In 1999 I trained for and completed the MS150, a bike ride from Charlottesville VA to the North Carolina border (and raised money for an awesome cause). At work I manage two bank branches and am continuously improving my offices' performance. One of my loves is travel. I've been to Europe once and would like to go back/live there. I've traveled all over the Eastern United States, visited Wyoming and its awesome views, and most recently returned from Western Canada and Alaska! I'm looking forward to more mind-blowing trips in the future. Moscow, Russia is a possibility.

Right now I want to meet someone I find attractive and he finds me attractive back. I do want to settle down with the right guy at some point. But right now I don't know who that is. Right now, my attractive guy is out there looking for me, and me him. He's very intelligent, mature and likes many of the things I like. He might also show me something new. He works regularly but has free time when I have free time. We'll do things together like go for hikes, talk about being OUT and what it means to us. We'll discuss what we want to accomplish in our lives. And little by little, we'll get to know each other really well so we can advance the relationship if that's what we both want.
