I love to be surrounded by people, know how to work a crowd, making everyone go home feeling positive and upbeat.  Always know how to make my partner content, even after a bad day. I have spent my life working and volunteering with children, the elderly and drunks.  (I was in the nightclub mgmt. business all during my twenties, alas the happy hour crowd!)  I love to decorate and organize homes for busy working individuals.  I am very meticulous but not fanatical.  I have raised three wonderful children and had the privilege to be a stay at home Mother for a very long time.  I am very diverse in my thinking and what I enjoy doing.  I have traveled extensively and love the water.  Boating, Fishing, Water Skiing, Cruising, Snorkelling and such.  I am also an expert snow skier.  My wish is to one day learn how to fly aircraft.  I am very artistic, love to garden and add beauty to my home.  I have many lifelong friends but always enjoy meeting new people.  I am not overly sensitive, emotional or irrational and love to debate, not fight, but discuss current events or issues.   I am very intelligent and am a self taught speed reader, having read over 100 books last yr.  I chose not to date for the last many months due to my friends passing but am ready to embark on some new adventures and experiences.  My friends say I am hysterically funny, you've got to be when raising kids, and I have a positive outlook on life.  I am sometimes taken advantage of, with my good nature and expecting the same treatment out of others, but I sleep well at night, knowing I touched someone's life that day.  Life is not a destination but a journey to learn and grow from.  Everyone we encounter touches our lives in some way.  I choose to embrace them.  If we only had this knowledge when we were younger!  HA! 

I have a way of bringing the best out of people.  Encouraging them and letting them know that they will always have my friendship.  I have friends from all walks of life and put my career on hold to raise my beautiful babes & to mold an extradinary amount of young adults.  They say that I am the funny MOM.  Guess that's not so bad.  Laughter is the elixir of life.

I am not looking for Mr. Perfect.  Yes, I would like someone easy on the eyes, but looks are not everything to me.  At our age, we carry around a few extra pounds, men are losing their hair and we all notice those little grey hairs.  That's why my hair is light auburn now!  The most important qualities I seek are integrity, honesty, loyalty, a good communicator, someone to cook for me, for a change, someone who will be compassionate, caring and a sounding board when I've had one of those rare bad days.  I'm not looking for a excessive coach potato but someone who wants to have fun and go out and try new things or just take a walk around the park. Free outdoor concerts are fun and we could pack some light fare and a bottle of wine and meet up with friends.  We all need down time too!  If I want to stay home one night, its nothing personal, I just need to do a facial or chill with a movie or good book. I don't like clingy, insecure or possessive men.  I won't treat you that way either.  I've put my personal happiness on hold for quite sometime and I am now ready to share my life with the right guy.
