what makes me - me. well. i'm very open-minded. i like to be honest about my feelings and opinions, and i'm open to others as well. i write alternative poetry, not your everyday love poem. i love music, it has saved my life on more than one occasion. i love music in general, but prefer the rock/metal genre to all others. i'm also into some softer rock/folk like ani difranco and melissa ferrick. Someone who can appreciate music is usually someone that i can get along with, even if they like to listen to a different genre than metal. i'm play bass and i'm in the process of starting a band at the moment. i don't put a lot of value into other's opinions of me. i'm comfortable with who i am and i'm not afraid to tell someone how i feel about most things.

i was the president of the Gay Straight Alliance at my high school. This meant a lot to me because activism, especially in a high school setting, is very important. I loved being the head of an organization that gave high school kids a place to feel safe from people who look down upon them for who they are.
I would be interested in someone who likes music, even if it's not the same genre that i listen to mostly. I like being able to have deep conversations about things, not just the everyday "what's up" conversation. I like people who are honest with their feelings, even if it's not what i may want to hear. I like creative people, artsy people, people who don't mind that i consider my body something that i can create art on. I have tattoos and piercings and i love them, and i also love them on other people. i like caring, romantic people, because i'm usually that way. i don't really have a specific look for a person that i'm attracted to. i find a lot of different looking people attractive. how a person carries themselves and their personality are the their most attractive attributes.
