I have worked with computers for over 10 years, doing a little bit of everything but currently I do mostly web design and programming. In my spare time I love to read, watch movies and TV, and write. I write both poetry and prose. I have even been working on digital art to go with some of my poems.

I was born and raised in southwestern Virginia. I now live about 2 hours north of where I grew up. My family has lived in this area for over 200 years so I have a long tie to this land and these mountains.

I am kind of shy around large groups of new people. One-on-one I am pretty open and can carry on a good conversation. With those I know, I love to talk -- about pretty much anything. I am not a sports fan, for the most part sports has never interested me. I am a geek, besides computers, I love Star Trek and most other science fiction.

As for who I am, I am loyal, honest (some may even say blunt), loving, supporting, caring, and trustworthy. I do suffer from a chemical imbalance which means I suffer from depression. I take meds and most of the time I am good, but if you are unable to deal with this, now is the time to move on.

I am looking for someone who is like me in some ways and unlike me in others. I want a man who is honest, loving, supporting, caring, trusting, and loyal (which for me includes monogamy). I want someone who is ok with staying at home for quiet evenings, but like to go out and do things at times. I am not into the club scene, so I am not interested in that. I want a non-smoker, who doesn't do drugs, who is healthy but not necessarily a health nut. I want someone who is spiritual, they do not have to follow my religion but I would like someone who is at least open minded enough to respect my beliefs and allow me to pursue them and I would let him pursue his. If they were similar than all the better. I want someone who can see past the physical but is still attracted to the physical. I like men who tend to be different than me, in particular, more slender or defined naturally built. I want a man who eyes I can get lost in but who can also carry on long and interesting conversations.
