I consider myself to be a really fun and outgoing person (then again, everyone says that!). I am always quick to laugh and try to see the best in every situation. If my friends could have one word to describe me it would probably be "nerd." I love learning new things and read anything I can get my hands on. I am a senior American studies major at a small liberal arts college in Virginia and plan on attending graduate school (MA or PhD) in Archival and Library Science. My weaknesses include: Political satire, travelling, and Ben and Jerry's Chocolate Fudge Brownie ice cream (but only in case of emergency!) I am a certified scuba diver (have been since I was 15) and have travelled to seven different countries (So far!). I love hiking, walking, jumping, climbing. I'm not the best at anything but I love to try and always give it my best shot. :)
This seems a bit strange to tack on right at the end......It seems like the sort of thing that comes out as you get to know another person. In that case I guess you better want to get to know me then huh? ;-)
I would like to meet someone who is nice. It sounds simple but if it were easy then sites like this wouldn't exist. I would like this special someone to be conscious of the world around them and care about current events. I want them to challenge me and I want to challenge them. It would also be helpful if they could quote extensively from Mel Brooks films.
