What makes me, me?  Life and experiences mingled with genetics I guess.  I am a deep thinker, and so I guess I have faced this question several times in my life.  I do ask this question periodically to maintain balance and check to see if I am where I want to be in my life.  I write poetry, song lyrics, and short stories for my kids.  They are very encouraging and patient with me and enjoy their time with me.  I am an eclectic individual with many talents, gifts, and abilities, as well as interests.  I am not what I do for a living although I do enjoy it very much.  I am able to be both authoritative and decisive, and fun and spontaneous.  I love the outdoors even though I haven't been able to get out and about in the last year or so.  I have been working my way up the ladder so to speak and spending as much time as I can with my children helping them to adjust to the world that they are experiencing.  I love the way that they can see things for the first time that have run through my mind so often that they have lost the power that those experiences once held.  They are a very important part of my life and I don't know what I would do without their love and presence in my life.  Oh yeah this is supposed to be about who I am.  I have been divorced for three years and have yet to find someone to be the love of my life.  I have dated in the traditional sense but haven't made any kind of serious connection.  I have spent the last almost two years working on the issues that held me back from being the person I should have been in my marriage.  I am much healthier and ready to find someone who can value me for who I am and not my aspirations or wallet.  I am who I am and I have made it to the place where I really like myself.  I want to share that self with a woman who is able to say that she is in the same place, healthy, happy

About me.  Currently I am working for a quick service restaurant as the store manager.  I am going to Chicago in a couple of weeks to take another class.  I have been with this company for almost two years now and have worked my way up.  I am working on my business management degree and hope to own a business in the future.  I am financially secure or at least surviving until a couple of the kids turn 18 hahah.  Seriously though, I purchase an old mobile home and continue to work on getting it to where I want it to be until I can buy a real house, again.  I don't care much about "stuff" and am not a materialist.  I am however a sentamentalist and have pics of my kids from the first steps to current.  I guess the best way to put into perspective my outlook on life is how we will be seen after we are gone, what did I impact and did I love with all that I had those that I held dear to my heart.  The relationships in our lives determine who we were and how we will be remembered.  So I live the day and love with all that I have those that surround me.

I would like to find someone who is intelligent, compassionate, independent, and beautiful on the inside first.  I am interested in so many things and love to do them with my kids as well as on my own, and want to share that with my would be partner.  I know that looks shouldn't matter, but really what attracts two people to begin with?  I think that I am somewhat attractive and want the same in a partner.  I love to take walks and hold hands or walk arm in arm.  I guess if I had to choose what I notice first about a woman it would be her eyes.  Some ancient person stated that they eyes are the mirror to the soul and I really do believe it.  You can tell so much from direct eye contact and that deep twining of recognition that happens, and the other person's reaction to it.  Some continue the gaze piercing into the soul, others look away due to some unknown reasoning of their own.  For some it is guilt, or lack of self worth, for others it is cultural, or they are just plain hiding something.  The second thing that I notice is their face, and thirdly their body.  Not all bodies are the same nor are they equally attractive.  I find several body types attractive.  Slim, to proportion, not skeletal, average, a little extra, but not a lot of extra weight, then the whole athletic or fit look, not bulky or man like but firm and healthy, I guess.  Once I get past the outward appearance it is the voice and intonations that I listen for.  The most beautiful woman with hatred, bitterness, or cruelty, in their voice is a total turn off, but the sickly sweet thing is just as unattractive.  A woman with her natural voice contains their nature of heart.  From there I guess it would be her ability to communicate effectively.  Proper use of the English Language, not High English, but at least a level that denotes intelligence is very important to me.  Then she has to have confiden
