Okay, so I know that I'm a weirdo when it comes to my political views. There's no one party that embodies everything I believe in. I'm not a single-issue voter, though, and that's why I'm liberal.

Target shooting is important to me, as is personal defense. I've come across the issue before, and it's never pretty when people disagree on this. We as Americans have a right to bear arms, and as an Air Force veteran, I wholeheartedly support and exercise this right. I'm responsible about gun ownership- I use trigger locks when and where they are effective (I have a 9mm Makarov where the trigger guard moves in order to disassemble it, so a trigger lock is totally inefffective), I keep my weapons locked up. If and when I have children, my weapons will be double-locked with ammunition locked in another room, save for a personal defense weapon, which will be in a biometrically (fingerprint, iris scan, etc.) locked case.

I like to go out occasionally, but I'm a college student. I can't always do so, so I can have fun at home, too.

I'm kinda clingy- my personal bubble is about 3 inches in diameter. This has been a sticking point in relationships before, so I'd like to get it out in the open now.

Above all else, I want to meet someone who is understanding. I'm pretty active- I like to go camping and hiking and other things, and I'd like to go skydiving sometime. I'm politically active, and I like it when the people around me are, too. I've been to several large protests, and they certainly won't be the last. Even if you're just there to record and observe, you're helping. I'm huge into communications, and I like to stay in contact with the people around me. This is why I encourage everyone to get their amateur radio license. Get your Technician license (REALLY easy), buy the radio and antenna (and maybe power supply, if you're using it as a base station), and that's it. You just use the thing. Renew the license every 10 years. You get your General-class license, and now we can talk worldwide. Get your Extra-class license and we get additional less crowded spectrum we can talk on for long-distance communications. As you can tell, communication is important to me, not only in the sense of talking to each other from across town or across the globe, but also in talking about one's inner thoughts and feelings. Communication is the most essential component of a relationship. We aren't mind readers. We have to tell each other what we're thinking. I look for someone I can relate to more than anything else. Personality is the most important thing to me. I have a bit of a wacky personality... can you handle it?
