Well, I love music, video games, TV, anime, and my cars - a '95 Subaru Legacy and a '68 Olds Toronado. I'm a tomboy for sure, and a geek to some extent. If you talk about something specific in Star Trek, I'm going to give you a blank stare and tell you I'm not sure what you're talking about, but declare enthusiastically that I want a Holodeck. Its awesomeness is all I remember. Video games, specifically Final Fantasies, Zeldas, and Marios, rock my world. I live in a very small town and am proud of not being a goat-ropin' hick. I'm really shy and after I become comfortable with you, you'll find I'm also just normally quiet, but can randomly burst into conversation and just keep going if I find a subject I know a bit about, (my interest in politics seems to shock people) and can sit listening enraptured if you're knowledgeable about things I don't know about that pique my interest, like metaphysics and religions other than Christianity. Intelligent conversation rocks my world, but I don't see nearly enough of it and am completely out of practice. I love small, intimate parties with my closest friends, and wonder why people I know stopped having them just because they turned 21.

Music is big for me, though I never think to put it on around the house, only the radio in the car. I blew out one of my Subie's speakers to the 17 minutes of Inagaddadavida, which was easy considering it's only got like 85 W to the whole system. It tries though, and I love it for that :) That said, the recent slew of junk coming out the past several years has made me a big fan of '60s/'70s classic rock. This next one seems to alienate people: video game music. Nobuo Uematsu (Final Fantasy I-X among several other projects) is a GOD. Koji Kondo - GOD (Mario, Zelda... um... Donkey Kong lol).

I'm stagnating right now, and it's making me very unhappy. I went to school to be in auto body, and though I learned many things, I found out it wasn't the thing for me. I REALLY want to test video games. A lot. I'd actually be willing to move to a major city to do so, even though I despise city life and it just about kills me to look out a window in the city and see another building only five feet away. I'm about to enlist in some branch of the military, but I haven't picked which one just yet. Kinda leaning toward the Marines, though. I'm finding myself coming up with more reasons to enlist than not to, self improvement and maturation as far as taking care of myself being the big ones.

Aside from that, I'm happy that I remain different from what appears to be everyone around as far as my interests go even though it also seems to alienate me.

Oh, and I also play piano! It seems not everyone was forced to take lessons when they were young and thus couldn't appreciate it properly, so let's throw that one in there ^_^ I mostly play (shock) Final Fantasy music, specifically FFVIII. Sheet music books are ~$50, and it's a beast to get my hands on the official stuff, but I check out fan-submitted compositions if I really like the song.

I'd like someone with the same interests as me, for starters. Someone with a good sense of humor would be great, also someone who can accept the fact that I usually just can't take a joke made on me unless you let me know somehow you're kidding. I'm not proud of that... >.< Please, no geezers or idiots. If you can't type like an intelligent human being, go away.
