...if there's someone to relate to out there . Me, I'm very laid back, easygoing, honest, very on the go, a majority of the time. I'm more the creative, intellectual type. I have a wide variety of interests including, music(I play/write), travel, road trips, cool restaurants, cooking(probably my best talent,lot of ethnic,vegetari an,etc.),outdoo r stuff(camping,h iking,fishing,e tc.),the cities(Milwauke e,Chicago,Minne apolis,etc.), long walks all over, among others,also trying new things.  I'm a very open minded, free thinker, who tends to view life from very different perspectives. I usually never conform to the conventional "thoughts and wisdom" of this area, just because most do because they believe it is the way they are supposed to think. I consider myself, very unique, and take a lot of pride in it.  As for what is most important to me in a relationship...honesty, t rust,and communication.Without them, one doesn't have much.

I've had a number of accomplishments and experiences in my life. I've lived in a number of places, including two other countries, ran a couple of businesses, owned one, raised a daughter(on my own for a number of years,she's 19 great kid), was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to develop and run a self help group for juveniles in the county jail here for several years, and finding out that it did make an impact on at least a couple of kids lives. Also I played a very influential role in labor negotiations in getting a 401k and much better retirement plan for a local labor union that I belonged to, educating, organizing, and negotiating for it. Thus it gave almost 200 employees a choice of a decent retirement plan. Presently working on putting together a home recording studio, also researching the idea of venturing into the restaurant business. 

I would hope that the person I am looking for has some of the same similar interests as mine, be adventurous as far as trying,learning,and experiencing new things. Also to have interests of her own, and maybe a willingness to teach me a thing or two, if we're mutually interest in it. As for personality, one necessarily wouldn't have to be very outgoing(that would be neat,actually), but be able to communicate her feelings well on all levels and areas with me, as well as me with her. Tries to take care of herself both emotionally and physically.&nbs p;Realistic,pos itive attitude, not "pie in the sky",but not constant doom and gloom either.One who believes as I do that raising one's voice or yelling is not a way to solve problems. Balanced, at least somewhat. Independent, but dependable is important. Secure, Ok with herself, life, the relationship....and can communicate when some or all aren't alright...., Ability to stop and laugh at herself and life when it gets overwhelming.....not taking one's self too seriously all the time. Wouldn't have to be perfect, but always trying to better herself. As far as what would make me compatable with someone. I would have to say that both of us are comfortable with each other enough to be able to talk to and tell each other about anything. Seeing each other as not only partner and lover, but as a very special type of best friend.
