Music is a big part of my
life. Chances are, if I'm not
in class or doing something else, I'm listening to music. I pretty much listen to anything as well, except country and gangster rap. As of right now I'm listening to a lot of alternative rock, post-rock, power metal, and electronic music. I am
also a musician; in high
school I played about 4
instruments, but I've since quit band and now only
really get to play my
guitar.
Surprisingly, for a Wisconsin male, I'm not really that big into sports. I love Soccer, and I'll occasionally watch
some Rugby (still trying to
understand the rules, though), but I don't watch American
Football, Baseball, or
Basketball.
I like to read, and
if I had the time, and
effort, I'd read non-stop. My favorite book, as of right now, is "The Elephant Vanishes" by Haruki Murakami. It's full of short stories, most dealing with Japanese life, and to me it's a classic
I'm
studying to get into the film industry someday, maybe
even land a spot as a film
director/producer. I like to
watch films as well, but I'm quite picky about what
I see. My film interests are
usually in classic films,
British comedy, surrealist
comedy, or stuff that just makes you
think.
Politically speaking I consider myself to be a very strong Progressive Liberal/Socialist. At one point I was going to go into politics but decided that it probably wasn't a good idea at all.
I'm not very religious at all. I consider myself an Agnostic with an interest in Eastern Philosophies like Buddhism and Taoism, but religion isn't really that big in my life at all.
I am (or was) a total music
geek, and so I've got
something like 30 medals just from
music, and I played in three
different honors bands when I was in high school. I managed to learn 4 instruments: the Tuba (my favorite), Euphonium, Bass
Trombone, and Guitar; because of scheduling, though, I had to quit band and now I only really get to play my Guitar. I was an
honor roll student for a few
semesters, and I also
managed to get a spot on the UW
Oshkosh College of Letters and
Science honor roll for 1st
semester last year.
I just want someone I can get
along with, someone who I
can
talk to not only as if
we
were
in a
relationship, but
as if
we were best
friends.
I've
never really
been in a
relationship
before, so I
still don't
know what I want,
but I'm sure
to find
someone.
